As you probably know, I was in Milan a few days ago for Anyma’s ÆDEN World Tour. I’ll admit, I walked into this concert without expecting all that much. Like everyone else, I had seen the viral clips and reactions from his groundbreaking Sphere show in Las Vegas plastered all over social media. In an age where we’re constantly scrolling, it is impossible to miss moments like that.

The Vegas show was likely the pinnacle, offering a completely unmatched sensory experience thanks to that venue’s next-level technology, so I knew it wouldn't be fair to compare Milan directly to it. Even so, working within music and creative fields myself, I like to think I can maintain a pretty objective lens.

And honestly? The show was phenomenal. From the pristine sound design to the mind-blowing visual effects, everything was top-tier. The crowd was fully engaged from the very first beat to the last, resulting in two straight hours where Anyma had everyone completely locked in.

If anything, his use of technology and visuals doesn't distract from the music. Instead, it acts as a bridge, deeply connecting the sound directly to the people in the crowd. Standing there, it genuinely felt like catching a glimpse of the future of live music.

Here is the kicker: I wasn't even a die-hard Anyma listener going in, and I certainly didn't know all his tracks. Yet, through this immersive visual journey, he somehow managed to etch those melodies right into my mind. You can instantly spot the massive amount of effort behind a project like this. When genuinely creative minds join forces, this is the kind of magic they pull off.

Right now, we're watching technology evolve at lightning speed, especially with AI entering the fold. But raw tech alone won't get you where you want to be without genuine creativity at the wheel. Anyma blends technology, music, and art in a way that feels almost effortless, though we know it is anything but. It is a rare feat nowadays, and only a select few are truly mastering it. I won't name names right now, but you can probably guess who they are.
